Last week in our blog we discussed how “dusting off” your health related New Years Resolutions now can be a great advantage and incentive to losing weight, looking great and feeling great for the holidays. So maybe some people might be thinking, “Why bother–if I might just gain it back during the holidays?”

Well as possible as it may seem, it is also quite possible not to gain it back especially if you’ve been practicing your new healthy habits and eating style. You may not be a candidate for weight gain because you’re already a few pounds lighter and you want to keep it going! That’s what our goal is, to get healthy, look great and feel great for the holidays and for it to continue on that pattern into next year! Why would you want to put your car in reverse when you’re already on the right road?

So join in on our “Lose Weight, Look Great and Feel Great” series by subscribing to the healthfulfilling blog to get insightful strategies for the next 12 weeks that will be mailed exclusively to blog subscribers. Want To Lose Weight, Feel Great, And Look Great For The Holidays?

Monday, September 20th, 2010

Many of us have been there–we made health or weight loss resolutions at the start of the new year, but somehow they all faded away from just trying to keep up with everything else that demands our attention.  If you have unintentionally not been able to keep up your resolutions from January, it’s not too late! This is a great time to “jump start” some of your goals.

Sometimes all we need is a reason to do it.  One great reason, besides the number one reason to just do it for ourselves, is to lose some weight, look great and feel great for the holidays! Imagine fitting into a smaller dress, or looking thinner in your regular sizes! Imagine getting out of bed in the AM with more energy, and just looking great from having more of a glow from being healthier!

Given that this is September, if you start eating healthier, watching your calories, and start exercising regularly now, you can possibly lose about 4 to 8 pounds by the end of December! I know that isn’t a whole lot, and 4 pounds might not seem worth it, but remember that every little bit counts toward better health.

If you want to get started on the lose weight, feel great, look great plan, with expert advice from a Registered Dietitian, subscribe to the healthfulfilling blog today that will be mailed to our subscribers weekly. Look forward to helping  you get healthier and shed some pounds!

How to subscribe to RSS feeds

Thursday, September 9th, 2010

Hello!

I recently have received a few questions on how to subscribe to RSS feeds for this blog.  Sometimes it can be confusing depending on what browser you have.  If you look at the top toolbar, there should be an RSS icon next to the home icon, and it looks like this:

The feed icon used in several browsers.

It should also be orange just like above.  When it is orange, it means the blog you are on can let you subscribe to the feeds, meaning you will be sent an email or notice when the blog has an update.  By clicking on this icon, it should ask you for your email, and then you will be signed up for the feed.

Another way to manually subscribe to our blog is to click on the “Subscribe To” link/button which is usually at the top of most blog entries. We’re really thankful for all of your subscriptions and we hope this explanation will help. Thank you all so very much for visiting the site and blog!!
